Hi All;
I am new to BBGA, My name is Keith G, and I have been playing off and on for what seems like forever, but it seems like I have never really achieved any real degree of succes. I am still currently in a Love/Hate relationship with my guitar. I am really excited about finding BBGA. I think its so awesome to have this kind of resource available to help us improve ourselves. Cheers Keith |

I love the love/hate metaphor. It's really worth exploring, because there is really a lot of energy to be harnessed and directed into the kind of music you want to produce. It's just a matter of getting clear about what you want and what's keeping you from making the next step in that direction, and mustering the tools and resources you need to make that next step.
The next time you have one of those hate moments, I encourage you to go deeper into it and let it shine light on what the sticky point is. Then, you'll know how to structure your practice. As you practice, make it a game, and you'll be amazed how those sticky points actually become something you do well, and with pleasure. Cheers, Craig |
